About Me
Hi, my name is Ziyao He, but feel free to call me Stephen. I’m from China 🇨🇳. Currently, I’m a first-year PhD student in software engineering at the University of California, Irvine, where I have the privilege of being advised by Professor Sam Malek.
Here are a few things about me: I love God, spicy food, my family, and my friends. I enjoy hiking and occasionally hit the gym for a workout. This year, I also started teaching myself how to play the guitar!
My MBTI personality type? I’m not going to tell you—it’s ESFJ, lol!
I’m doing research in accessibility testing and I’m passionate about making software more accessible for people with disabilities. I truly believe that digital content should be accessible to all users, regardless of their abilities or preferred mode of interaction. Now, with the advent of Generative AI, this technology brings more possibilities to the field and has the potential to make software more accessible than ever before.
Let’s work together to build accessible software!
